EOS Weekly Meeting Minutes
July 26, 2005

Patricia Fernandez

Patricia set up the remainder of the Shutter presentations – Cindy & Lisa will give their presentation on Tuesday, August 2, after our meeting, Dean & Bruno will present on August 16, Rod will give his presentation on the Front Ends on the 23rd and Rick will give his presentation on September 6.

PSS GEN 3 training – Kevin will arrange the training for August 9, 2005.

Work Request System – Randy Flood will give the presentation and Mohan will explain the changes at the meeting today at 2:00 p.m. in the 435 LOM Conference Room.

Patti sent Patricia all the broken links that she found on the APS Home Page, the information was sent on to Chris Klaus who will fix the breaks.  Patricia asked that the FCs when they have time to continue going through pages as time permits.

Patricia spoke with Ralu Divan – clean room optics shop – when someone is working alone they will post on the outer door the scope of work and if they are alone, if something is needed to call the on-call FC.

At CAT Chat it was brought up about the rules of hutches, keeping area cleared for easy access, please remind your beam line personnel to keep this up and if needed, please help them.

One of the HP techs walked into a laser beam area while the experiment was going on.  Please remind everyone to be aware of where they are walking and what is going on.

Elroy will be going to Buildings 435 & 436 to do his inspections, tag along if you have the time.

Patricia asked JoAnne to set up a meeting with Kevin, Jeff, Lisa and Dean in regards to the 24-ID incident.

John Quintana

Friday Mohan noticed Sector 32’s ray tracings were not quite accurate.  He will be addressing this matter with beamline staff.

Tom Barkolow is working on the OAI audit comments. It was stated that we need some type of corrective action tracking system, something on the order of the COATS system.

Cindy Chaffee

Working on labs and fume hoods, checking if getting enough air exchange in the room.

Cindy is also working on the Utility drawings for Bill Wesolowski; Troy finished the drawings for Mohan.

Rod Salazar

LS-CAT is ready to go; GMCA-CAT – beam studies/loss of beam not returned to the same; ray trace modifications, Rod will be meeting with Mohan today.

Mitigation at Sector 26; several labyrinths not right.

Bruno Fieramosca

Bruno is helping Cindy with the Utility drawings.

Dean Wyncott

The deck on 7-ID is complete; need a couple receptacles around the railing; needs to order their cryo lines and Shops is working on the lift platform.

Ray Monroe

BCDA effort will be complete before September 30.
