I would like to invite all of you to join me at the Napa Valley College Campus Saturday, 21 September 1996 to explore Physics-related materials on the World Wide Web and experience publishing your own Web pages. The session will begin at 9am in the Science Building (#710) at the Southwestern side of the campus. The Introduction session will be followed by a hands on session in the Computer Lab (#721). There are parking lots to the South and West of the campus and the Science building. The closest parking lot will be on the west side of the Science building. If anyone would like to copy software or files from the Internet please be sure to bring 3.5" disks that are High Density (HD) type and that are pre-formatted as either Mac or Dos. If you have a SCSI External drive and with a SCSI-II Cable, that would also be supported on the workstations in the computer lab. After the session there are shaded picnic tables in the glade east of the Science Building. For those who would like to order a sandwich or prefer to bring their own, it is a very comfortable location. We could arrange to order sandwiches and what ever else anyone would like in the morning. The local Vallergas market has an excellent deli available for such purposes. The Napa Valley offers many interesting sites for those who may wish to linger into the afternoon or evening.
