(Adults) Take one (1) pill with a glass of water after meals and at bedtime (4 times daily). Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily. Start taking 5 or 6 days before onset of period and continue until desired relief is obtained or end of period. Note: The appearance of blue tinted urine which may occur after taking Diurex Water Pills is a normal and temporary effect. | ||||||||||||||||

Warnings Reye's Syndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this product for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye's Syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. Alcohol: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks everyday, ask your doctor whether you should take magnesium salicylate or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Magnesium salicylate may cause stomach bleeding. Do not use if you are allergic to salicylates (including aspirin) Ask a doctor before use if you are taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning of the blood), diabetes, gout or arthritis, have impaired kidney function, have stomach problems (such as heartburn, upset stomach or stomach pain) that persist or recur, have ulcers or bleeding problems or are under 18 years of age. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking any other medications. When using this product, limit the use of caffeine-containing medications, foods or beverages because too much caffeine may cause: nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness, occasional rapid heart beat. The recommended dose of this product contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. Stop use and ask a doctor if ringing in the ears or hearing loss occurs, symptoms last for more than ten consecutive days. If pregnant or breast-feeding ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. |
