Episcopal Diocese of Albany, New York

Bishop Daniel Herzog and Bishop Suffergan David BenaVigorous missionary work transformed English colonial starts into the Albany Diocese. From original Hudson Rivers forts to the borders of Quebec and Ontario the 20,000 square mile enterprise was the fruit of the labors of pioneers like Bishop Hobart, Father Nash and convinced clergy and laity.

Today the Diocese numbers 130 missionary outposts, seeking to be healing communities where the Gospel is proclaimed and the risen Jesus is encountered in the Sacraments. This Web Site opens the life of those outposts, along with the major ministries of the Diocese, for your service. We invite you to check out the dynamic life of Christ in these communities and within these ministries.
