Liturgical vestments are garments worn by the priest and/or other religious dignitaries made of fine cotton, silk, gold and silver thread. This category includes the chasuble, dalmatic, alb, stole, girdle, maniple, rochet, musette, miter, and bonnet. Size varies according to garment. This example of liturgical clothes is an vestment for the priest and bishop used during the mass. It is used over the alb (a white linen robe) and the soutane. It has the shape of a bell with a hole for the head. It is decorated with floral elements.
