SNAP-R, the Simplified Network Application Process Redesign:

SNAP-R is a Web-based system that enables exporters to submit export and re-export license applications, high performance computer notices, and commodity classification requests directly to BIS via the Internet in a secure environment.

Telephone Access/Voice Information Services:

BIS's voice mail system can be accessed using a touch-tone phone, and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To access recorded information on export licensing and related topics, simply call our Exporter Counseling Division in Washington D.C. at (202) 482-4811, or either one of our Western Regional Offices in California at (949) 660-0144 or (408) 998-7402 and follow the instructions.

STELA, the System for Tracking Export License Applications:

STELA is an automated voice response system that can be accessed using a touch-tone phone. It provides applicants with the status of their license and classification applications, and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. STELA can give exporters authority to ship their goods for those licenses approved without conditions. To obtain information about your license application from STELA, dial (202) 482-2752 and enter the Application Control Number. Press "0" for instructions.
