I'll add pre-pumpkin-pie blues to that list and get you a better description of the problem:

running this 3dAllineate command:
3dAllineate -base K0055-0307-anat-stripped+orig -source K0055-0307-fphase+orig -prefix K0055-0307-fphaseCR

gives this error:
++ ======= Allineation of 1 sub-bricks using Hellinger metric =======
++ ========== sub-brick #0 ==========
++ Start coarse pass
+ - Search for coarse starting parameters
*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (!prev): 0x0a2157b0 ***
Abort
