A graduate of the fourth class at West Point to admit women, Rebecca Jones embarked on a career as an officer in virtually every hot spot of the last 20 years, from Saudi Arabia to Kosovo to Kuwait and Iraq. She commanded a truck company in the Persian Gulf War, and she served as executive officer of a team of logisticians for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Throughout her various assignments she was impressed with the positive attitudes of her colleagues and the willingness of everyone to pitch in to solve a problem, no matter how seemingly insignificant.
