General Comment

Our founding fathers created the Bill of Rights to protect the citizens and the
States from an overzealous Federal government. The Second Amendment simply
and clearly enumerates the right of the people to keep and bear arms. This fact
alone should be sufficient to grant the subject proposed rule changes

What about the laments of those in opposition to this proposed rule change who
say our National Parks will be turned into bloodbaths? In those situations where
right to carry (which this roughly equates to) has been implemented nothing of the
sort has happened. In fact, in many cases violent crime has been reduced.

I therefore request the Department of the Interior follow the Constitution of the
United States of America’s Second Amendment and not infringe upon our right to
keep and bear arms, particularly on Federal property.
