I have opted into the Federal Do-Not-Call List NOT to receive telemarketing calls. Therefore, I am FIRMLY AGAINST any additional loopholes permitting unsolicited sales calls to my telephone, especially if the message is pre-recorded. The "established business relationship" condition won't be a deterrent to overzealous "marketers", since such provisions have always been abused. I am also concerned that in case the change is approved, the Do-Not-Call list will simply be used by the marketers for efficient phone number harvesting. It is my opinion that the so-called "telemarketing industry" represented by Direct Marketing Association has no legitimate reason to exist, and has absolutely no right to call my telephone number, or petition any governmental agency. I want those people to GO AWAY NOW.
