Most of these I've already mentioned to Betty... 1) All Pancam and some Ncam, Hazcam, MB (possibly the others too) datasets have citations starting w/ the phrase "RIPTION" 2) All Pancam datasets refer to viewing the data via the Analysts Notebook under the link "View Information for". Coincidently, the "Other Resources" column does _not_ have the anything listed. Betty says it should reference the Analysts Notebook. a) The Hazcam anaglyph dataset should reference Analysts Notebook in the "Other Resources" column on the dataset page (the nacam anaglyph dataset looks correct). A couple things that will improve the Browser UI: 3) Cannot refresh the instrument listing on main search page. Here's what I did: Filtered on MER, Pancam. This redirected me to the dataset page. I hit the browser back button and got back to the main search page (showing what I filtered on). I pulled down the instrument menu but only 'camera' was selectable. I had to reset the entire page and start the filter sequence all over again. Ideally the UI should allow the user to relist all the instruments w/o having to reset. 4) With the Safari browser, the popup description for each item in the Home banner float all over the page; where ever the mouse goes. Very annoying. Pressing ESC doesn't get rid of them either. This behavior happens 90% of the time. The Mac has this auto popup feature, but there is a delay before the popup is displayed - this delay ensures that deliberate action is being taken to view the popup. Perhaps the PDS page should have a delay as well. -Elmain __________________________ Elmain Martinez Image Processing Systems, JPL (818) 354-4053
