Michael Bell's efit routines in MDSplus (derived tree?)

When old trees are changed (e.g., nodes added or renamed), trees look like they
are missing until new files moved to the same directory as the old one.

Max MPTS values so Scope can see them.

Redo Software web site.

What single points of failure do we have & how long will it take to recover from
them?  Should we change our maintenance response time?

Ron Bell routines incompatible with mine (color tables, nothing in Label field,
paths different).

How to get LANL Camera in the tree? Should we give them a new PC?

EFIT viewer at PPPL?  Run-management software. BD to talk to Sabbagh.

Put densities from Reflectometer into MDSplus.

Zimmer hasn't done "bulk of work" for Stratton Soft X-ray Pinhole Camera.

Have not been able to get to the Spectral Analysis program.

Have not been able to get to ReviewPlus.

Need to get Java tools working here, including new Manduchi navigation tools.

On Unix, how should people get notified of new compilers, down time, etc.?

ssh to VMS behaves differently on different computers (some don't have Multinet).

Could use a test suite for EFIT when MDSplus changes made.

How to make users (and ourselves) aware of features and power available from
database tools?

What should we do to support & integrate PCI-based data acquisition & MDSplus?

Need tags for hard x-ray signals.

What cross training do we need to back up someone out for a week? Out permanently?

Do we need to start looking for IDL replacement, since support is being dropped
for VMS & MacOs X?

Should there be Unix training for Users?

Is there adequate Unix support? E.g., security & design of my Perl scripts
supporting web stuff, printing confusion, load issues, tools like ImageMagic, help
with FORTRAN or linking problems, etc.?

IDL ION more maintainable than Perl scripts communicating with IDL? Cost?

VGDS replacement, or at least some better monitors? If the display wall gets
purchased, how do we get plots there automatically?

IDL (or other) Waveform editor?

More Labview experience/support needed?

What to do for/with BEAST & TRANSP?

Full Unix support of MDSplus at PPPL? Especially what to do with calls to VMS
