KANAWHA COUNTY STUDENTS SPEAK WITH SPACE STATION CREW



CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Fourth- and fifth-grade students from Piedmont 
Elementary School in Charleston, W.Va., will speak with the 
International Space Station crew from approximately 9:55 - 10:15 a.m. 
EDT, Thursday, July 5. The event will be live on the Web and NASA TV 
from the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences in Charleston, W.Va.



Expedition 15 Flight Engineer Clayton Anderson will answer students' 
questions about the mission and living in space. To attend the event,

information.



Piedmont was recently selected as a member of the NASA Explorer 
Schools program, which establishes three-year partnerships between 
the agency and schools across the nation.



NASA TV's Public, Education and Media channels are available on an 
MPEG-2 digital C-band signal accessed via satellite AMC-6, at 72 
degrees west longitude, transponder 17C, 4040 MHz, vertical 
polarization. In Alaska and Hawaii, they're on AMC-7 at 137 degrees 
west longitude, transponder 18C, at 4060 MHz, horizontal
