As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. PIEDMONT PARK (MO), CLEARWATER LAKE, MODescription:RESERVATION SEASON GENERALLY RUNS FROM MAY 15 TO SEPTEMBER 15. CAMPING OUTSIDE OF THIS PERIOD WILL BE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE ONLY. Piedmont Park Campground is located on Clearwater Lake southwest of Piedmont, MO. The lake is fed by the Black River which provides visitors an excellent location to camp, fish, swim, boat, picnic, or sightsee. Piedmont Park Campground offers 91 sites, 78 have electric hookups. There is potable water within the park, but there are some with water at the individual campsites. Additional amenities include a dump station, hot showers, picnic shelters, a boat ramp, a playground, public phones, a swimming area and a pavilion.
