Washington, DC – Congressman Tom Price (GA-6) today issued the following statement in response to the comments of Iranian President Ahmadi-Nejad that that Israel should be “wiped off the map”:

“Not only are Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad’s comments completely despicable and disgraceful but it becomes increasingly clear that the roadblock to Middle East peace starts with Ahmandi-Nejad himself.

“The global war on terror is truly that, a global undertaking. Rather than look the other way when it comes to acts of terrorism Iran must realize that America will stand with Israel in this fight for peace and will not waver in the face of such intolerance.”
