Community relations and preventive policing are explained, with special emphasis on school liaison, juveniles, and victim support schemes. A section of the report on public order offenses focuses on terrorism, demonstrations and protest marches, and football hooliganism. Police discipline is analyzed in terms of commendations, complaints, and police discipline statistics. The final section focuses on police welfare, sport, and miscellaneous activities including various police trusts and provisions for police orphans.
