Comings explores the concern among bankers and distributors about dangerously lenient loan policies and overly-generous practices in providing credit to consumers. Also, the high quality and low prices of cheaper cars, says Comings, lessens the demand for second-hand cars and poses a threat to the the second-hand market.
24 "Many New Cars to be Shown at Big New York Show" previews offerings to be displayed at a show sponsored by the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce.
26 "Car Dealer of 1926 Faces Real Test of Ability" urges dealers to meet competitive conditions in the industry "with courage and intelligence." The article advocates conservative financing practices.
28 "In New York State We 'Show 'Em and Sell 'Em'" by A. V. Comings profiles the successful careers and techniques of Scott Hayward of Syracuse and Palmer Cately, car salesmen from Ithaca and Cortland, New York. Both of these men are part of the sales team of Onandaga Auto Supply Co. Some of their customers, such as A. F. Bullion and his automotive equipment business, are also described as are other dealers and members of the regional sales force.
31 "1926 Car Better Than Its Predecessors" by Paul Dumas discusses the improved features of new models. Illustrated parts shown.
34 "We Have With Us for 1926 the Old Question of the Used Car" discusses problems faced by used car dealers because of the improved new cars being offered at lower prices. The article suggests that used car dealers devote time and money to reconditioning used cars.
36 "Finer 1926 Cars Will Realign Maintenance Ideas" by Paul Dumas talks about changes going on in car servicing and repair. Quick service departments and specialized repair shops are two of the newer responses to handling cars that need fewer major overhauls but that continue to exhibit specific, minor problems. Mechanical descriptions are given, and there is some mention of mechanical malpractice.

41 "Editorial Comment" contains three editorials. The first, "Financing Automobile Sales," cautions against time sales financing by retail dealers, a method which depends upon low down payments and extended terms for paying off a loan's balance. The second, "Keep The Roads Open" applauds the Minnesota Highway Department's determination to keep country roads open throughout the winter, and the last editorial, "From Peak to Valley" urges its readers to anticipate cyclical changes in the business cycle.

79 "Flint Announces New Chassis and Changes on Former Models" describes in detail the "Flint Junior," a new model by the Flint Motor Co. The engine, specially built for the "Junior Six," is manufactured by Continental Motors.
82 "New Auburn Four Has 120 Inch Wheelbase" describes a four-cylinder model manufactured by Auburn Automobile Co., Auburn, Indiana.
83 "Elcar Offers Enlarged Eight" describes Elcar's eight-in-line models, built with Elcar's own boies, and featured for the first time at the national automobile shows.
84 "Engine and Other Changes in Velie" discusses changes to the chassis and a new model by Velie Motors Corp., Moline, Illinois. These were announced at the 1926 New York National Automobile Show.

87 "Davis Announces Two New Sixes" discusses two new six cylinder models: No. 92 and No. 93, superseding models No. 91 and No. 90 respectively.
88 "New Paige Smaller Than Predecessor" talks about a small companion car manufactured by the Paige-Detroit Motor Company which is intended as a "companion" car to the New-Day Jewett.
88 "Two New Body Styles by Oldsmobile" briefly describes new body styles on the Oldsmobile Six chassis. One is a "de luxe roadster..."of the four-passenger style having a rumble seat in the rear deck." The coupe seats two with a "large baggage compartment in the rear deck."
89 "Page Announcing Automobile Improvements" for the Hupmobile Eight and the Wills Sainte Claire six cylinder chassis.
90 "Page Announcing Changes" for the Gardner Motor Company line of eight and six cylinder cars whose prices have also been reduced. There have also been some changes in the most recent Chevrolets.
