I believe that naked short selling is primarily being targeted at "Foreign Companies Registered and Reporting with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission".
If substantiated, this is a vile step backward that makes me lose confidence in the greatest capital market in the world.
To restore foreign investor confidence, the rule of law making naked short selling illegal must not only be executed, but also appear to be so.
