Consul General Rooney at the Bavarian American Academy

Consul General Matthew M. Rooney opened the 7th annual conference of the Bavarian American Academy at Amerika Haus Munich. The conference, co-sponsored by the Munich U.S. consulate is dedicated to the topic "The Power and Politics of the Aesthetic in American Culture". The conference runs from June 9-11, 2005 and brings together scholars from both sides of the Atlantic who will address a variety of controversial tenets.
