Arrest of Leonard Rondeau
On September 07, 2005 at around 11:30 p.m.,
Leonard “Lenny” George RONDEAU, 30, was arrested at 4584 Navajo Street,
Denver, CO by members of the FLAG Task Force (Fugitive Location and
Apprehension Group) and the Denver Police Gang Unit. RONDEAU was wanted by
U.S. Marshals in the District of Nebraska for Unlawful Flight to Avoid
Prosecution based on a warrant from the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office
(NE) charging him with two (2) felony counts with the Use of a Weapon to
Commit a Felony and two (2) felony counts of Terroristic Threats.
RONDEAU is also wanted for questioning in an August 04, 2005 homicide in
which the victim was beaten to death and dumped in the White Clay Dam on the
Nebraska/South Dakota border. RONDEAU has a history of sex assaults and
convictions in Federal Court in Rapid City, South Dakota. RONDEAU is a
tribal member from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota.
