Frappe and Politics

ThessalonikiAmerican Consulate General in Thessaloniki in cooperation with the Center for International Politics – Thessaloniki organized the first session of "Frappe and Politics," a series of informal discussions on current affairs over coffee at a local cafe.

A group of graduate and post-graduate students, as well as the president and board members of the CIPT had the opportunity to meet and discuss with Consul General Yee U.S. – Greek relations, Kosovo, the importance of diplomacy today, the impact of technology on modern diplomacy and foreign relations as well as the upcoming U.S. elections.

The comfortable forum fostered many questions and a lively discussion among the students and CG Yee. Participants agreed on the desirability of continuing the discussion series, which was conceived and organized by Consulate General intern Kelli Rollins.
