Current Primary Research Interests: Pharmacology and Toxicology
- Behavioral pharmacology and toxicology emphasizing cognitive function deficiencies as
indicators of toxicity, developmental perturbations and aging.
- Operant behavioral analyses for quantifying brain functions in children and animal
models, particularly nonhuman primates, for animal-to-human extrapolations.
- Demonstrating correlations between operant behaviors and other measures of complex brain
function in humans (i.e., IQ scores).
- The pharmacology and toxicology of antiepileptic drugs.
- Developmental pharmacology and toxicology
- Psychotropic drug effects.
