FLIGHT REQUEST FOR 2001022400:
No flight is requested for this date.

OUTLOOK FOR 2001022500:
A flight is tentatively requested for the jet nose located in the vicinity of 31N, 180W. The 00Z NOGAPS model run shows the jet max at 300mb splitting in this region, with a portion of the jet diving south and feeding a developing trof that becomes a Kona low later in the sequence. The MRF and AVN show a similar split jet max, but have lower windspeeds in the southern portion. The 12Z NOGAPS run intensifies this portion, and the CAT products show good probabilities of MDT turbulence from 175W to 180W and from 20N to 30N. There is also a nice bullseye of 50mm/12hr precip associated with the previous front that will be crossed en route to the jet max. GIV will look for turbulence in a box tentatively defined by 30N, 179W and 25N, 174W between 31 and 41,000 ft.

LONG-TERM OUTLOOK:
No more flights planned.
