"Do not call" should mean precisely that. I did not enter my phone onto the registry so that the irritation of human callers could be replaced by the irritation of automated, pre-recorded callers. I recognize that there are economic costs to the DNC list but there is more to life than profiteering. If the FTC seeks to have policies aligned with those of the FCC, its efforts would be better spent encouraging the FCC to tighten its own rules. I cannot overstate my anger at the very thought that you would geld the DNC list only a year after its bliss-inducing creation. Drop this idea like the turkey it is. Thank you, James Hill, PhD
