At a meeting of the Energy and Commerce Committee today, Solis called on the committee to fully fund research of minority health and health disparities at the National Institutes of Health, as well as breast cancer research and other key health priorities.

Solis also addressed other legislation to be addressed by the committee, including the Lifespan Respite Care Act, the Ryan White CARE Act reauthorization, and the Biodefense and Pandemic Vaccine and Drug Development Act.
