Subject: Agricultural antibiotic data base

Dear Commissioner:

Recently I wrote to you urging the FDA to move more quickly to reduce the use of 
antobiotics as growth enhancers in livestock, especially those drugs which are of 
medicinal importance to humans.  To that, I would like to add the necessity of creating 
a data base of antibiotic use in the United States, both for humans and for animals, so 
that the dimensions of the problem of drug resistance can be more acurately assessed.
