Image Description -  0811-1

A Figure is captioned "Figure 1. Layout for Flaw Inspection".  The
layout consists of an x-ray source shining down at an angle onto a
test plane shown as a rectangular surface.  The test plane is resting
above a larger rectangular surface, labeled "Recording Medium (film)".
X-rays are shown to be diverging as they leave the x-ray source.  At
their impact point with the test piece a "flaw" region is created,
which is shown as a rectangular area parallel to the surface of the
test plane.  The x-rays passing around the flaw create an image on
the Recording Medium.  The image is similar to the flaw shape on the
test pieces; however, it is magnified.  The image is labeled "Flaw Image".
