TO: All Head Start Grantees and Delegate Agencies
SUBJECT: Shining Bright/Getting Together videotape to accompany the training guide entitled, "Leading the Way: Disabilities Services and the Management Team"
INFORMATION: Attached is one copy of the Shining Bright/Getting Together videotape which will serve as a useful supplement to the training guide, "Leading the Way: Disabilities Services and the Management Team." The video provides useful illustrations of a Head Start program's efforts to collaborate with a local school district to better serve preschoolers with significant disabilities in an inclusive program.
ACYF has made a bulk purchase of these tapes which enable us to make only one copy available to each grantee and delegate agency. ACF Regional Offices and the Head Start Quality. Improvement Centers are also being provided a limited number of tapes for their use. Subsequent copies of the training guide will not include an accompanying tape.
