Washington, DC – Congressman Bill Shuster announced today that he has appointed Marlowe Epstein to be his new Press Secretary. Marlowe replaces Tory Mazzola, who has accepted a position as Communications Director to United States Senator John Ensign’s (R-NV) reelection campaign.
"We would like to thank Tory for his years of service and dedication. We wish him the best of luck," said Congressman Shuster.
Marlowe will serve as Congressman Shuster’s spokesperson and will be based out of the Washington, D.C. office, however she will frequently travel to the Ninth District. Mazzola’s last day in Congressman Shuster’s office will be Tuesday, August 22.
Marlowe comes from South Carolina, where she worked as an Assignment Editor for WLTX-TV. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Journalism and worked as a newspaper reporter before coming to Washington, D.C.
"I think that Marlowe’s background in both print and broadcast media will make her a valuable asset to our office," said Congressman Shuster. "We are very happy to have her on board." |
