QUESTION 73:
A month ago I found an image of a glacier on an
obsure NASA page - it took me forever to find, and
now I can't find it again. It was a glacier in
Alaska, image taken by a European SAR satellite.
The title of the page was something similar to
"some of our favorite images", had a dark
background with thumbnails of the satellite images
along the left (about 6 of them?) and was in a
different design-style than the other NASA pages
I'd seen. Is there anyone who can help me find me
way back there? Thanks!

QUESTION 72:
I noticed you dont often repond to "UFO" type
questions but after no response from
other"proffessional forums" I thought I'd
submit this to you. I am in no way a fan of
the sensational only a local resident with a
very unnerving experience. I hope you can shed
some light on this mystery. Last winter a friend
and I were star gazing
no telelescope (no beer, or drugs)at the top
of Angeles Crest late at night. We noticed
two rows of four or five colored lights high
above the horizon. They appeared horizontal
at first, then each "row" would change
formation unexpectedly. Sometimes the lights
would appear to form an "L" type of shape.
sometimes it seemed to form a cross, or even
group into one light, the single light
formation always looked white in color and
appeared almost camoflouged as a star but
just a little too bright to be one. These
"formations" changes happened irradically,
sometimes minutes apart, sometimes only
seconds.Sometimes they seemed to mimic
eachothers formations. One would change just
after the other into the same formation. only
the order of lights and the distance between the
objects in the horizon distinguished them.
During the whole time we watched, (until sunrise)
they would travel off and on.The movement very
fast and unpredictable but never leaving its
general area. They moved in all directions for
unknown reasons, sometimes in tight spirals,
before coming to an immediate standstill.
My friend watched and would tell me what she was
seeing as it happened,("...moving left
now...moving up..."). I was astounded as
everything she said was right on to what I was
apparently witnessing.Anyway the activity
continued for several hours as the sun began
to rise. We watched the "real" stars fade, and
were surprised to see them last well after the
last visible star had faded, before they also
slowly faded in the sky...still maintaining
their position!! until they faded out
themselves. Oddly the one that always looked
closest to our position faded out first! then
a time later the other one to the right sided
that appeared a distance away faded away
extrmemely slowly.finally dissapearing just
before the sun became visible, the sky was well
lighted by this time maybe 630am? guess
Iv'e never anything up there before, and was not
expecting to see anything out of the ordinary.
I assumed it may have been military? but
something tells me it was something else.
Possibly scientific? please help me out...
