The Outstanding Leadership Medal is presented to Howard J. Lewis, Jr., for outstanding contributions and leadership skills demonstrated while leading the Flight Research Services Directorate.

Cathy H. Mangum

The Outstanding Leadership Medal is presented to Cathy H. Mangum for contributions to NASA's mission success, through exceptional leadership of Langley's information Technology organization and Center-wide transformation efforst.

Vincent L. Rausch

The Outstanding Leadership Medal is presented to Vincent L. Rausch for outstanding leadership as Manager of the Hyper-X (X-43A) Program, resulting in the first-ever flights of air-breathing aircraft at the world record speeds of Machs 6.8 and 9.7.

Mark P. Saunders

The Outstanding Leadership Medal is presented to Mark P. Saunders for outstanding leadership in forming and leading Langley's Exploration Systems and Space Operations Technology Directorate.

William J. Small

The Outstanding Leadership Medal is presented to William J. Small for sustained leadership in support of the Advanced Aircraft Program.

Barry D. Meredith

The Exceptional Achievement Medal is presented to Barry D. Meredith for efforts, including coordinating research support and addressing critical flight safety issues, in support of Return to Flight.

Michael R. Sorokach, Jr.

The Exceptional Achievement Medal is presented to Michael R. Sorokach, Jr., for exceptional achievement in planning and leading the development of an aviation security investment assessment tool for aviation security research.
