Polygonia faunus [Nymphalidae]
Generally light orange with an extensive dorsal patch of white irregularly bordered in black on A2-A9; multibranched spines on T2-A9; dorsal spines on T2-A2 are light orange; dorsal spines on A3-A9 and the subspiracular spines on A1-A8 are mostly white; black head mottled with orange. This species is common on willows during June and July.
