Hi,

I'm interested in the carder chlorophyll product. In the web page "l2gen product lists" I saw that there are some flags specific for the carder algorithm but I can't find it in the "l2gen products" seadas widget. How can I use these carder flags?

Thanks a lot,
Simone

Simone,

The "flags_carder" product is not in the seadas GUI.  Consider it for advanced users only.  You can output it by simply adding it to the list of products in your parameter file and running l2gen from the unix commandline.  Then, you will have to understand how to interpret the bits.  They look like this:

CFLAG_FAIL           0x0001    failure (bad inputs)
CFLAG_DEFAULT    0x0002    using default (empirical) algorithm
CFLAG_BLEND       0x0004    blending with default algorithm
CFLAG_UNPKG       0x0010    unpackaged case
CFLAG_PKG           0x0020    packaged case
CFLAG_HIPKG        0x0040    highly packaged case
CFLAG_GLOBAL     0x0080    global case
CFLAG_LO412       0x0100    low input 412 reflectance
CFLAG_LO555        0x0200    low input 55x reflectance
CFLAG_CHLINC      0x0400    large inconsistency with default

I would note that we will likely remove the carder algorithm altogether in a future release (since it is not actively maintained), so we have no plans to make this more user friendly.
