This position is located at the Cherokee Nation Vinita Health Clinic, Vinita Oklahoma.

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides direct professional counseling services at their assigned clinical site. Provides after-hours "on call" coverage for emergencies. Provides clinical support and consultation to Medical Staff and referral agencies.

QUALIFICATION:
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or closely related field; no substitutions. An additional one year paid experience in the field of community mental health is required. Preferred: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Behavioral Professional (LBP), or Licensed Social Worker (LSW); Individuals eligible for licensure supervision as either a LPC, LBP or LSW may be considered. Must have had course work in Personality Theory; Abnormal Behavior; and Counseling and Practicum Training in Psychotherapy. Must have knowledge of counseling techniques, assessment skills and after-care procedures used in the chemical dependency field as well as knowledge of Relapse Prevention Techniques. Must have basic computer skills
