WASHINGTON D.C. -

U.S. Senator Olympia J. “Ensuring that our military personnel have the best quality resources available is essential to achieving all of our military objectives,” Senator Snowe said.  “I am very proud that the United States Navy would entrust a Maine-based company like Bushmaster Firearms with the important responsibility of arming our forces.”

Bushmaster Firearms International, LLC holds the distinction of producing the most bought AR-type firearms in America.  The estimated contract completion date is December 31, 2010.
