Company Background: Main activities: manufacturing and marketing of foliar fertilizers of micronutrients and fluid fertilizers for irrigated fertilizing. The company has developed its own technology, protected by its own brands, and structured in its technical agronomical support to farmers. Its products and its technical support are used mainly in micronutrients fertilizers of the
most important Brazilian crops, such as sugar-cane, coffee, citrus fruits, soybeans, corn, cotton, mango, winery and table grapes, apples, tomato for industrial use, beans and potato. Euroforte works mainly in the southeast and south of Brazil. The company was established following pioneer experiments with micronutrients, which started in 1969. It currently has a technical support team of 15 specialized agronomical engineers for tropical and subtropical plants.

Objectives at WAE Obtain knowledge about products and companies that manufacture raw materials for foliar fertilizers. Potential for importing and developing partnerships in the Brazilian market. Obtain knowledge about suppliers of machinery and equipment used for foliar fertilizers (aerial and terrestrial pulverization). We would also like to present our products and our technology to U.S. companies, which may be willing to evaluate their performance under U.S. agricultural conditions. We have technical knowledge supporting our firm conviction that our products and our technology could be very useful to the productivity of several U.S. crops.

Company Background: The Itambé cooperative is the second largest dairy manufacturer in Brazil and the
largest one of Brazilian capital. During 2005, it processed one billion liters of milk,
and had total sales of R$ 1.36 billion (approximately US$ 550 billion).
CCPR/ITAMBE is a cooperative of 7000 milk producers in the Brazilian state of
Minas Gerais and Goiás. It has 5 dairy plants and one of animal feed. Its main
products are powdered milk, condensed milk, yogurt and milk cream, which are
sold all over Brazil. ITAMBÉ exports to more than 30 countries accounted for 6%
of its local sales in 2005.

Objectives at WAE: 1) Importation of machinery and equipment for its dairy plants.
2) Exportation of condensed milk and milk cream.

Company Background: The only commercial activity of the Santa Helena Farm is the production of hay Tifton 85, in rectangular bundles of approximately 40 Kg, for feeding of beef cattle, dairy cattle, equines and caprines. We also sell transplants of Tifton 85. Our sales area is in the Brazilian states of MG, RJ, GO, DF, BA, MS and SP.

Objectives at WAE: 1) Obtain knowledge about large hay harvesting machines, to increase our production. Obtain knowledge about suppliers of rods for hay packaging. Obtain knowledge about suppliers of parts and components for our machinery. Meet potential importers interested in buying our product. Develop partnership and cooperation programs.
2) To know manufacturers of hay-specific presses, that can be used to reduce the size of hay-bundles for exportation.
3) To contact companies that use or make fertilizers made of liquid animal waste, specially swine waste.
