Muskie Alumni Award Ceremony

On May 24, Ambassador Kozak hosted a reception welcoming Belarusian awardees of the Muskie Alumni Award and FY-02 Muskie/FSA Graduate Fellowship finalists.

Established to celebrate alumni accomplishments and contributions during ten years of the Edmund S. Muskie/FREEDOM Support Act Graduate Fellowship Program, the Alumni Awards are presented to outstanding alumni who have made notable contributions to the advancement of democratic society and economic reform in their communities. The Muskie/FSA Program was established in 1992 to foster democratization and the transition to market economies in the former Soviet Union through intensive academic and professional training, and has trained over 2,800 individuals.
