The thought has concerned me for some time that Xray, cytoxic chemicals are good candidates for the activation of a latent virus -- as they do in bacterial prophage . . .
The worse thought arises that AZT might also do just that, albeit it inhibits the replication of the virus as well.
Do you know of any way in which this possibility has been tested -- with animal cells? with lysogenic bacteria?
