Agoseris lackschewitzii
- Similar Species: A. aurantiaca has burnt-orange ray flowers, pointed involucre bracts, achenes with beaks 5-10 mm long, and grows in drier habitats. A. glauca var. dasycephala has yellow flowers and beakless or short-beaked achenes. Microseris and Nothocalais spp. have feather-like or scaly pappus.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: July-August. Mature fruit are useful for identification.
- Distribution: Endemic to EC Idaho, SW Montana and the Wind River and Beartooth ranges of NW Wyoming (Park and Sublette Cos.).
- Habitat: Wet montane and subalpine meadows. Elev. 9600- 10600 ft.
