Speaker Notes: Check this one out. Kids chose the answer where the imaginary statements the boy in the story made are treated as if they're literally true. He tells people he has animals at home and no one believes him. Except the kids reading it. This is about knowing when a narrator is unreliable. Fascinating and contrary to what people will tell you NOT all about lower order thinking. Authorial intent is a very complex skill that's being built up.
