Summary
The BOReal Ecosystem-Atmosphere Study (BOREAS) is a large
multinational study of boreal forest interactions with the atmosphere. Mainly
carried out within two study areas in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, BOREAS
included a significant biometry component. This summary report, with
accompanying CD-ROM, outlines the dendrochronology of BOREAS samples, describes
... the tree allometry sampling program and presents the results of X-ray
densitometry analyses of tree allometry samples collected in the BOREAS
program.

images, as well as the detailed data for each sample in DendroScan
(Varem-Sanders and Campbell 1996) format. There is also a utility program
(XDATA.EXE) for extracting the condensed DendroScan format files into full
ASCII tables.
