WEATHER DISCUSSION: 
Weak low pressure remains off the Southern Cal coast while high pressure builds over Arizona. This keeps the fire area in warm...dry southerly flow through mid week. A little mid level moisture will work into the region later in the week for some possible build ups over the ridges.

WEATHER FORECAST

WEATHER: Sunny. 
TEMPERATURES: Maximum: 7000 ft: 75-80   5000 ft: 85-90  2000 ft: 90-95 
HUMIDITY: Minimums:    7000 ft: 15-20%  5000 ft: 12-18% 2000 ft: 5-12% 

20 FT WINDS: 
RIDGETOP - Light east-southeast wind 4-8 mph, becoming south-southeast at 4-8 mph with gust near 15 mph in the afternoon.
SLOPE/VALLEY -Becoming upslope around 1000 at 2-4 mph...increasing to                      upvalley/upcanyon 4-7 mph with possible gusty and erratic winds in the canyons.

INVERSION: Any weak inversion will break about 10 am. 

OUTLOOK FOR NEXT SHIFT:
Clear with little change to temps and rh...Lows 45-50 at 7000 feet...60-65 at 2000 feet. Max relative humidities 40-45% at 7000 feet 20-30% at 2000 feet Light downslope winds becoming downvalley/downcanyon around 0200 at 3-7 mph. South to southwest winds of 5 to 8 mph above ridgetop.

EXTENDED FORECAST: Wednesday through Friday 
Mostly sunny with some afternoon build ups over the ridges Thursday and Friday. Temperatures trending down slightly and relative humidities up slightly. Ridgetop flow remains southerly with mainly terrain dominated winds in the canyons and slopes.
