Subject: our rights include labeling

FDA,
    Back in 1978 I had to occasion to testify before the US Senate's
hearings held in San Francisco regarding upgrading the labels on our
packaged foods. It hadn't been upgrade in 30 years, since 1948. Now 30 years
has past again, and it is time for this matter to be reconsidered.
    It has been proven that the public wants to know the content of their
food and the nutritional value. It is one of the ways they can decide to eat
the burger or the box.
    We now deserve to know  the source of our food and if has been "man
handled" or is a gift from God. Our bodies are adapting as fast as they can
to the air and water bound contaminates. Do not inflict on us the additional
burden of genetically modified foods.
