Fertilization

Proper fertilization can increase crop/forage yield and quality when soils are nutrient deficient or otherwise unavailable. Appropriate application of nutrients also protects our natural resources from degradation while supplying food and fiber for all to benefit.

The NRCS Electronic Field Office Technical Guide (eFOTG) contains the most current standards, specifications, and job sheets for implementation of a nutrient management plan.
