Using funds from their Assessment Demonstration Pilot, the Planning Commission was able to complete Phase I and II site investigations at the Old Windsor High School/Burnham (old town dump) property. This property was subsequently sold and now houses an accounting firm with eight employees. Other assessments have taken place at 128 River Street and the Jones and Lamson site.

A $350,000 Assessment Grant was closed on January 31, 2005.
