The project will provide educational and/or training services to children as a strategy for preventing them from engaging in labor and will also use education as a means for withdrawing children from work. Although there has been no documentation of child trafficking in this region, it seems likely to exist, as there is considerable cross-border movement in this border region known as the "migration corridor" to the Niger and Burkina Faso gold mines. The project will conduct studies to shed light on child trafficking in this region and incorporate appropriate responses into its strategy. $3,000,000
