PBS&J developed this Communication Facilities Database from the Broadcast Auxiliary Microwave file obtained from the Federal Communication Commission (FCC).

Purpose:

This data is used to estimate the damage (and resulting loss of functionality) associated with Communication Facilities for a given flood, hurricane, and/or earthquake scenario. The damage estimates are subsequently used to compute the estimated cost to repair or replace the damaged communication facilities.
