Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts or GWACs are task order or delivery order contracts for information technology established by one agency for governmentwide use. Each GWAC is operated by an Executive Agent designated by the Office of Management and Budget pursuant to Section 5112(e) of the Clinger-Cohen Act, 40 U.S.C. 1412. COMMIT COMMITS NexGen - COMMITS NexGen (Commerce Information Technology Solutions-NexGen) is a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity GWAC set-aside for small business technology firms. COMMITS NexGen is a task order contract designed to offer information technology (IT) services and IT services-based solutions to Federal customers. The COMMITS NexGen program has three main objectives. The first is to deliver top quality, performance-based IT services and solutions that meet government mission requirements. The second is to deliver IT services and solutions with a streamlined acquisition methodology. The third is to provide competitive IT solutions from a pool of exceptional small, disadvantaged, 8(a), women-owned, veteran-owned, service disabled veteran-owned, and HUBZone businesses.

COMMITS 1 All COMMITS NexGen information technology task order opportunities regardless of order value - COMMITS NexGen (NG) Incumbency Status: Qualifying incumbents shall be included in a COMMITS NG recompete regardless of contractor tier status and task order life-cycle value provided the incumbent contractor has an active COMMITS NG prime contract and incumbency was earned by winning a previously competed COMMITS NG task order awarded using fair opportunity to be considered per FAR 16.505 (and not a fair opportunity exception). A separate e-mail to the incumbent may be required. Please contact the COMMITS NG PCO at commits@gsa.gov to determine how to notify a qualifying incumbent and for any incumbency related questions.
