The Federal Interagency Wildland Firefighter Medical Qualification Standards Program was developed to provide guidance to wildland firefighters and those responsible for the health and safety of all wildland fire personnel.

This program was developed by the Interagency Medical Standards Team under the direction of the National Fire and Aviation Executive Board.
