Content Description

Abstract: Spatial file containing polygon information for oyster repletion activities conducted by Md. DNR between 1958 and 1999.
Purpose: This file was created for Maryland DNR planning purposes, specifically for the purpose of managing Maryland's oyster resource.
Supplemental Information: Boundaries are the product of the digitization of plantings hand-drawn onto the Natural Oyster Bar charts. Digitization was performed using MapInfo software (version 5.0) by Department staff at the Cooperative Oxford Laboratory.
